From Butlerstown, Bandon in West Cork, Anne-Marie O'Brien is known for her eclectic variety of performing flair

Born into a multi-talented family for many years Anne-Marie has been the driving force as musical director behind the infamous shows put on by the talented Butlerstown Variety Group.

Graduated with a BA honours in Musical Theatre at MTU Cork School of Music, Anne-Marie is also organist, cantor and musical director for Barryroe Church Choir.

As well as teaching Drama and Music in primary schools she is an accomplished pianist and talented actor.

More recently she has performed on stage in the Everyman Theatre, Cork as Grandma Addams (The Addams Family musical - 2023) and as Kath Casey (Our House - 2024) and continues to work with Cork MTU Musical Theatre productions such as the 2025 show '9 to 5' (Dolly Parton).
